    To install the complete HEC-HMS software package, perform the following steps:

    1. Download the HEC-HMS software package and save it to a temporary directory (e.g., c:\temp).

    2. In order to run the HEC-HMS installation program, use Windows Explorer and locate the directory that contains the HEC-HMS installation executable (e.g., c:\temp) and double-click on the install.exe.

    3. Follow the installation instructions.

    4. Once HEC-HMS has been successfully installed, the installation files can be safely deleted.
