Recently we were tasked with mapping the pre and post construction floodplains relative to road projects we are designing. We attempted to use a different software to build the mapping with limited success. With our project deadline fast approaching, we contacted BOSS International. Using the online training videos and help from RiverNET tech support we were able to easily complete the projects. The tech support department was exceptional. Without their help, we would not have completed the projects as timely as we did.
We are impressed with the overall organization of the RiverNET software. It is easy to learn, versatile and has an ability to accurately map floodplains. The import/export capabilities to and from HEC-RAS software made it easy for the project engineer to communicate their results to the mapping model. Its added function of creating GIS elements at the same time you create CAD results is also a nice feature.

RiverNET is a great tool for performing river hydraulics and floodplain studies. The ease of entering data has saved me considerable time, and the choices of output result in professional reports. Creating accurate and report-ready floodplain maps are as easy as clicking the mouse.
I am especially pleased with BOSS International 's technical and customer support. Questions are handled in a very timely manner, and solutions to technical issues are always addressed. Customer support is one of my biggest criteria in doing business and BOSS International ranks as high as anyone for that.

I would highly recommend BOSS to anyone.
Customer service and technical support, etc, is the most important thing to me in a business. Unfortunately, it is terrible in so many businesses.
However, I am very impressed at the support I have received from BOSS International. BOSS has been diligent in responding and helping me with program issues. He is out of town this week and yet he still made an effort to respond to my emails—even to simply say he is out of town doing training and that he will try and get to my questions during a break. Wow! His hotel didn't have broadband, and he made an effort to find a place that does so he can download files. That type of service goes a long way with me, and is so impressive, that it inspires me to strive to do the same with my clients. I would highly recommend BOSS to anyone.

We purchased StromPack a few years back. At the time we needed quite a bit of technical support to get up to speed on the program and to find answers to some of the aspects of the program we felt were not working correctly. As a long time user of BOSS International RMS products, I would like to express my complete satisfaction with the RMS products. I have been involved with the input and analysis of HEC-2 and HEC-RAS for over 14 years. With BOSS RMS the process of inputting cross sections has gone from a multiday task to a few hour without the human errors. The ability of RMS to quickly and easily model all kinds of hydraulic situations from bridges, multiple culverts, floodplain encroachments, and multiple flow rates has saved me many hours of work. RMS' floodplain mapping allows us to quickly and accurately show Floodway Encroachments to help us process FEMA's LOMA, and CLOMA submittals.

I would like to state that my experience, albeit limited, with the support personnel at BOSS International has been a wholly satisfactory one. The occasion of my need for computer assistance occurred after receiving a copy of modeling software on loan from BOSS for evaluation purposes. A colleague and I encountered several problems in attempting to install and run the program. These problems stemmed from deficiencies with our own computer hardware and were neither simple to diagnose or solve. However, through each step of the installation process, Mr. Thomas J. Pecotte went to great lengths to help us—constantly staying in communication, promptly returning our frequent phone calls, an even going so far as to provide us with third-party utilities via the BOSS electronic bulletin board system. In my experience, I have found few computer products companies that actually deliver on their support service claims. I believe that BOSS can be counted as one of these few.
